Indoor and outdoor hydroponic systems

Hydroponic planting systems can be used indoors and outdoors. However, sufficient light must be provided indoors. If the natural sunlight is not sufficient, special plant lights can provide additional light. In the house or apartment, take care to ensure that the water cannot cause any damage during filling or in the event of leaks. Sufficient humidity is also important.

Outdoor hydroponics

  • From spring to autumn, grow fresh vegetables on the balcony, terrace, greenhouse or wherever outdoors. The gardening season also depends on the climate zone in which the plants are cultivated.

  • Sufficient light should be available in the planting area, and please consider the preferences of the plants - semi-shade, very sunny...

  • Easy gardening without having to water all the time, as watering is done automatically via a recirculation system.

  • You need technology suitable for outdoor use, such as water pumps, oxygen pumps or time witches.

  • Planters - must be suitable for planting, sufficient planting distance and root space are important. Fixation or climbing aids for climbing plants should also be available.

  • Secure vertical planters or wall systems against wind and prevent falling over.

  • How many planting holes do I need? This depends on the need for harvest and the frequency of harvesting. Plan enough planting holes for the offspring

  • Energy supply / electricity is needed.
